Mit „UP and DOWN“ haben die drei Freeskier Matthias Haunholder, Sascha Schmid und Matthias Mayr, in Zusammenarbeit mit Greenhornfilms einen etwas anderen Freeski-Film produziert.

Der Film zeigt, wie man die Ausgangspunkte der Lines erreichen kann. Vom Ski-Doo über Lift bis hin zu Flugzeug und Helikopter ist den Freeridern jedes Fortbewegungsmittel recht. Doch die ursprünglichste aller Fortbewegungsarten, der ordinäre Fußmarsch, bleibt natürlich das zentrale Thema.

„UP and DOWN“ ist mit Sicherheit ein Freeski – Movie der anderen Art, der nicht mit Action spart und darüber hinaus jede Menge interessanter Infos bereithält.
