In January 2011 we spent two weeks in Niseko-Hanazono on Hokkaido, the northern Island of Japan, which is every Winter getting tons of Snow due to a Winter Monsun which is rushing in over Siberia and the Japanese Sea. In January 2011 it snowed on 30 out of 31 days. It was one of the most fascinating trips in my life, encountering a totally different culture.
